This is a hands-on role where you’ll support critical property accountability and logistics functions for a government customer. What You’ll Do As a Property Specialist I, you will help manage and track government-owned property across its full lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include: Performing physical inventories, barcode scanning, and audits of government assets Tracking movement, shipment, delivery, and storage of assets across the enterprise Updating asset records in government inventory control systems Supporting mock audits, inspections, and financial reviews Ensuring accountability of both Agency-Owned Accountable Property (AOAP) and Portable Computing Devices (PCDs) Preparing and processing hand receipts, asset transfers, and excess property documentation Working in varied environments (hot, cold, noisy) and standing for extended periods Using Microsoft Office tools and barcode scanners (training provided) Required Qualifications TS/SCI clearance with FS Polygraph (you must already have this to apply) Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field – OR – 2 years of relevant experience in inventory, property accountability, data entry, shipping/receiving, asset tracking, or warehouse operations Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and remain standing for long periods Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic knowledge of barcode scanners and Microsoft Office Suite Why Join Global Dimensions?
