Travel Surg Tech - $1,875 per week in Apple Valley, CA

Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid State License required; no temporary licenses accepted Certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA or NCCT acceptable Must-Have: - Scrubbing experience required - Inpatient experience required - On-call availability required with a response time of 30 minutes Description: This position involves working in the operating room. The candidate will assist in various types of surgical cases, including general, orthopedic, urology, and gynecological procedures. Experience with both inpatient and outpatient cases is preferred. The ability to handle all aspects of the surgical process, including preparing instruments and ensuring a sterile environment, is essential. Candidates must be knowledgeable in aseptic techniques and have experience with da Vinci Xi surgical systems. Weekend and holiday coverage is required, with commitment to work three of the five major holidays. All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state.
