Our client Fellerman & Ciarimboli PC is immediately hiring for an Employment and Labor Attorney to join their team. Position Overview The ideal candidate is an experienced self-starter skilled in helping employers and employees navigate the complexities of employment and labor law. Qualified candidates must be licensed in Pennsylvania, with 5 years' experience. Responsibilities include: * Counsel employers on workplace law issues including complying with employment laws ensuring they are not in violation of regulations related to wages, benefits, discrimination, and other workplace related matters * Counsel employees on their rights and responsibilities under the law, assisting them in understanding their options in cases of potential violations * Develop strategies, draft pleadings, taking/defending depositions, and arguing motions * Represent clients in lawsuits, negotiations and mediations, and administrative hearings * Provide Human Resource support to employers including drafting employee handbooks and employment policies, drafting and negotiating employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, restrictive covenants and severance agreements * Perform in-depth legal research to support case strategies How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, cover letter, and salary requirements. Key Qualifications: * Excellent communication, research and writing skills * Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA) and PA State Bar * Some portable business preferred * Must be a confident self-starter and able to work independently Experience: * Experience in traditional labor law and/or ERISA matters a plus * Union experience a plus * 5 years of employment litigation experience including discrimination, harassment, wage & hour, and employment contract cases
