Bilingual is a plus -Spanish Average first year salary is $45,000. Base salary ($25,000) plus aggressive commission (as high as 10%). Residual commission on renewals. Job Responsibilities To be a successful insurance sales professional you must be great at: Providing excellent customer service Prospecting and generating new business through networking, leads & referrals Calling, presenting and selling Farmers Insurance products and services Deepening household relationships by selling additional Farmers products Conducting policy reviews and updating policies and coverage’s as needed Processing payments and reporting claims Job Requirements Below are a few requirements of an Insurance Sales professional: Professional phone etiquette Identifying and qualifying sales leads generated from a variety of sources, including networking, referrals, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases Setting appointments and meeting with prospective customers and business owners in their homes, places of business, or other settings Presenting and explaining our products and services using a consultative approach, based on a true understanding of clients’ needs and goals Multi-tasking skills Meet monthly & quarterly sales goals Maintain an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude daily A great self-starter and self-motivated Intermediate computer skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and various windows application Insurance Licenses for Property & Casualty and Life
