With an Assistant Manager in place, you’ll have the flexibility to focus on leadership, team performance, and business growth—while also rolling up your sleeves and being hands-on when needed. You’ll be commercially minded, understand how to manage and work toward budgets, and be comfortable making strategic decisions that drive both sales and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage all aspects of the café’s daily operations * Motivate and support a team, including an Assistant Manager and front-of-house staff * Work to commercial targets and budgets with full P&L responsibility * Maintain exceptional standards in service, cleanliness, and product quality * Drive community engagement and uphold brand values * Manage rota planning, stock, and supplier relationships About You ✅ Previous experience in a hospitality management role (café, casual dining, or similar) ✅ Strong leadership and people development skills ✅ Commercially focused with a good understanding of budgeting and driving sales ✅ Happy to be hands-on while maintaining a strategic and structured approach ✅ Passionate about ethical business, sustainability, and customer experience Ready to lead with purpose and enjoy a more balanced lifestyle?
