Position Summary Are you a relentless hunter with a knack for unearthing hidden opportunities and closing complex deals? Do you thrive on developing your own book of business and aren't afraid to go door-to-door or make high-volume cold calls to get there? As a Business Consultant at Vensure, you'll be at the forefront of our growth, identifying and cultivating new business through aggressive prospecting, strategic networking, and robust channel partnerships. This isn't about selling a tangible product; it's about selling innovative, intangible solutions that revolutionize how businesses manage their most valuable asset: their people. You'll own the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to post-sale implementation, negotiating terms, finalizing agreements, and meticulously managing your pipeline to consistently exceed your monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. We're seeking individuals who are 100% or above on their attainment – a proven track record of consistently crushing quotas is non-negotiable. What You'll Do Generate New Business: Aggressively prospect and secure new client accounts within your designated territory, leveraging cold calling, door-to-door visits, strategic partnerships, and your expanding network of COIs (Centers of Influence). We're looking for individuals who can consistently set 2-5 meetings per week with SMBs. Strategic Needs Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to understand prospective clients' unique needs and pain points, then skillfully position Vensure's comprehensive suite of services – including PEO (Professional Employer Organization), ASO (Administrative Services Organization), and HCM (Human Capital Management) technology – as the ideal solution. Industry Expert: Become a true student of our industry, staying ahead of new products, services, broker practices, and market trends to provide unparalleled value to clients. Quota Crusher: Consistently meet or exceed challenging monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas, demonstrating unwavering commitment to high performance. End-to-End Ownership: Maintain ownership of the entire sales cycle, including the post-sale and implementation processes, ensuring a seamless client experience. Pipeline Mastery: Maintain an accurate and robust sales pipeline and forecast using Salesforce, ensuring clear visibility into your progress and projected success. Executive Presentation Skills: Prepare compelling executive summaries and deliver impactful presentations to key decision-makers. Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with current clients, providing ongoing support and addressing questions throughout their journey with Vensure. Continuous Improvement: Proactively collect data to provide insights and direction on product and service enhancements, marketing strategies, and other areas that contribute to overall business growth. What You'll Bring Proven B2B Sales Acumen: 2-3 years of demonstrated success in B2B sales, specifically with intangible services (e.g., PEO, ASO, HCM, HRO, payroll, or comprehensive HR solutions). Experience in car sales, retail, or telecommunications alone is typically not the right fit for this role. Hunter Mentality: A strong, proven ability to find and develop your own success and books of business. Nothing is given or shared at Vensure – you build it. Sales Performance Excellence: A documented track record of achieving 100% or above on sales attainment/quota. Be ready to discuss your metrics, quotas, and daily activities (calls, revenue, units). Exceptional Business Acumen: A deep understanding of financial concepts and strong business acumen to effectively communicate value to diverse companies (blue, white, or green collar). Self-Starter & Highly Motivated: An inherent drive to succeed, with the ability to aggressively prospect and pursue new business opportunities independently. Adaptability & Openness: Self-aware and receptive to feedback and coaching, with a continuous desire to improve. Communication Mastery: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of engaging and influencing decision-makers as a knowledgeable professional. Problem-Solving Prowess: Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) for lead generation and activity tracking. Flexibility: Ability to adapt to a territory that is flexible with no zip code or radius restrictions on employee counts. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Why Vensure?
