CDD - Senior HR Officer and Payroll Expert

Job Purpose Fixed Term Contract till 31/12/2026. As part of a strategic business transfer and payroll system migration project, we are looking for an experienced Senior HR Officer and Payroll Expert to manage complex payroll processes in an international matrix environment including Spanish payroll. The position will imply significant interactions with teams in France and Spain Key Accountabilities Participate with the current local provider to the migration of payroll from one system to another as part of a company transfer and ensure its success Ensure legal compliance of payroll processes in Spain Ensure payroll production for the entities concerned, in conjunction with the new payroll provider and internal teams. Perform payroll reconciliations and coordinate annual processes (Social contributions, tax certificates, etc.). Provide technical payroll support to local and HR Operations team in Paris. Maintain and optimize relationships with payroll and benefits providers and tax authorities. Participate in the implementation of harmonized processes and continuous improvement of payroll practices. Qualifications Education/Qualifications Payroll and HR qualification Experience 5 to 8 years of experience in payroll management in a complex international environment. Proven experience in payroll system migration Expertise in Spanish social legislation and Spanish payroll expertise Experience in a matrix and multicultural environment Previous experience working in a global HR function is an asset Knowledge and Skills Solid knowledge of a payroll provider platform Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills Fluent in English and Spanish (French is a plus) Competencies Strong customer service orientation Detailed-oriented; strong time management skills Ability to work independently and organise and prioritise workload Ability to identify and manage confidential and sensitive information or situations in a professional manner Willingness to support team members during periods of high-volume workloads
