Customer Service & Sales Support Ref: KK46756 A major Japanese logistics company located in the suburbs of Paris is seeking a Customer Service & Sales Support professional. You will be responsible for handling customer communications and supporting logistics operations, primarily related to international household removals. Prior experience in logistics is highly desirable, but applications from capable and motivated candidates without prior experience are also welcomed. Excellent benefits are available. ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS: • (O) Eligible visa: Permanent residence, Spouse, Partner • (X) NOT eligible: Student visa, Requiring visa sponsorship Work Style: Initially full office attendance during the probation period; one remote day per week available afterwards VISA SUPPORT: Not available BENEFITS: Meal vouchers, transportation allowance, and various staff discounts available Type: Permanent, full-time Salary: From €26k, depending on experience Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30 (until 17:00 on Fridays) Start Date: ASAP Location: Suburban Paris (commutable by car) Customer Service & Sales Support Main Responsibilities: • Handle customer inquiries and provide information regarding required documentation for import/export procedures, including customs clearance. • Coordinate international shipments by liaising with internal departments (sea, air, land transportation, and customs) and monitoring progress. • Communicate with destination offices (mainly Japan, but also the US, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and other European countries) to relay shipment details. • Arrange the delivery of packaging materials and schedule additional services prior to the move date. Customer Service & Sales Support Ideal Candidate: • Experience in logistics is preferred. • Native-level French and business-level Japanese are required. Business-level English is an advantage. • Proficiency in basic PC operations (Excel, Word, Internet, Email). • A high level of accuracy, responsiveness, flexibility, and a strong customer-oriented mindset. • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to support expatriate customers with empathy and professionalism. *All applicants for the Customer Service & Sales Support role must have the right to work in France without any restrictions as the Company is not able to offer visa support. *When contacting us, please include the job reference number (Ref: KK46756) at the top of your message.
