Logistics Specialist with Security Clearance

2 Openings Logistics Specialist Job Duties: Candidate will be supporting the SMIT contract as a logistics specialist. The daily duties will include delivering equipment to the Navy base local to the area. The candidate will be using a car rented by the organization to make the commute and drop the equipment off. Candidates must have an active DoD Secret Clearance and a Clean driving record to be considered for the opportunity. The team is also looking for a candidate with a good attitude. The schedule will be Monday – Friday, normal working hours. This position is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity with a pay rate between $25-27/hr. • The logistics team would move devices from a delivery location to the final installation point. • Provide the unboxing and initial assembly of furniture for VTC. • Provide the unboxing and initial power up of printers and MFD’s • Cleanup of the area removing all packaging and debris. • Provide for the removal of existing equipment • Place removed equipment in storage and/or prepare for shipment to a disposal facility. • Inventorying and validation of asset records to track all equipment • Responsible for the storage, maintenance, and safe use of equipment at the site. Must Have: • High school diploma • Current drivers license • Ability to drive moving vans, and box trucks • Ability to lift heavy objects • Ability to use transport dollies, stair climbers, hand trucks Active DoD Secret Security clearance
