Job Description

The Integration Team Lead is a hands‑on engineering leader responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining an end‑to‑end integration strategy that prevents regressions and guarantees that every feature functions flawlessly prior to customer shipment. Key Responsibilities : Feature Quality Ownership : Ensure every robot feature (across software, firmware, and hardware) is validated, regression-free, and meets release standards. Own and enforce strict quality gates before any release. Integration Strategy & Test Coverage : Design and maintain a robust integration strategy that ensures full test coverage across all system layers. Drive test specification and expansion to capture new features and edge cases. Test Development & Tooling : Lead the development of automated test systems and supporting tools for thorough robot validation. Deliver custom tooling for data logging, test execution, and performance visualization. Issue Management & Reporting : Ensure transparency and accountability across all open issues from discovery to resolution. Own bug triage processes and deliver executive-level reporting on quality metrics. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Bridge across disciplines to align testing efforts with system design and implementation. Mentor integration engineers and cultivate a strong quality-driven engineering culture. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field. 10 years of experience in integration testing, quality engineering, or similar roles Leadership experience: mentoring engineers, running cross‑functional quality reviews, and driving accountability. This is a hands-on job, as such you should have a background of experience in : Firmware Hardware‑level troubleshooting (using oscilloscopes, etc). You will design, build and debug on hardware test benches. Data‑logging and visualization tooling (Grafana, custom dashboards). Scripting and automation frameworks (e.g. Python & py-test, CI/CD pipelines).
