Geetech is a leading superyacht engineering company based in Monaco, specializing in testing, servicing, refits of Lifting, Boarding & Working at Height Equipment. Our mission is to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal performance of equipment onboard yachts. We are looking for a highly skilled & qualified Lifting & Working at Height Equipment Inspector to join our growing team. This role will involve the inspection, functional testing, repair and maintenance of lifting, boarding and working at height equipment onboard superyachts, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations. The work will be undertaken onboard superyachts in the Marinas and at various European shipyard locations from Italy, Monaco, France & Spain. Occasional worldwide travel for projects is required, as well as occasional work outside regular business hours. Responsibilities -Carry out Thorough Examination and Load testing in line with Company procedures on clients' equipment such as: lifting equipment & appliances, lifting accessories; boarding equipment; height safety equipment (Fall protection systems & PPE) - Identify and address any deficiencies or issues encountered during inspections, performing necessary repairs or coordinating with the repair teams to ensure equipment compliance and optimal working condition. - Prepare detailed inspection and certification reports, including photographs and actionable recommendations. - Conduct service & repairs of lifting equipment, particularly cranes and davits, following company and OEM procedures - Stay updated with international codes, standards, specifications, and statutory regulations - Provide guidance on equipment selection, usage, and maintenance best practices. - Deliver training sessions to yacht crew on the correct use and care of lifting and height safety equipment. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience inspecting and certifying lifting and working-at-height equipment, preferably in the superyacht or marine industry. Strong technical expertise in cranes, davits, and other lifting equipment, with a solid understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems. Relevant certifications in lifting equipment inspection- LEEA qualifications LEG, LMM Expertise in working at height, including rope access techniques and the use of safety equipment a must. Rope access certification (e.g., IRATA Level 1 or higher) is preferred Previous hands-on experience in yachting or maritime engineering roles a plus Familiarity with maritime regulations and international safety standards Valid driver's license
