Senior Hydraulic Technician

HYDRAULICS TECHNICIAN Geetech Monaco SARL is an engineering company based in Monaco, providing support and services to the Superyacht Industry. We are looking for an experienced hydraulics technician willing to work, learn, travel, and provide an excellent customer service. About the Role The role will involve repair and maintenance of electro-hydraulic equipment ( Cranes, Passerelles, Swim Platforms, Shell Doors, etc) onboard superyachts. The work will be undertaken onboard superyachts in the Marinas and at various European shipyard locations from Italy, Monaco, France & Spain. Occasional worldwide travel for projects is required, as well as occasional work outside regular business hours. Job Responsibilities: Refit, Repair and servicing of lifting equipment (especially Cranes and Davits) in accordance with Company and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) procedures and requirements. Attend Hydraulic Equipment breakdowns – diagnosis, client communication providing technical solutions in a clear manner. Carry out Thorough Examination and load testing of lifting equipment and accessories in line with Company procedures on clients' equipment to ensure regulatory compliance and report on condition. Provide accurate and timely written reports. Qualifications and Experience Technical qualification in a Mechanical / Hydraulics discipline Engineering experience with expertise in hydraulics & Electrics Experience in hydraulic power pack build Experience in industrial, marine, mobile, or offshore hydraulics. Ability to read technical schematics and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams. Lifting Equipment inspection & load testing experience ideally in the marine industry. Strong technical skills and proven expertise in Cranes and other Lifting Equipment, rigging Desirable to be LEEA/ LOLER qualified and have knowledge and experience of hydraulics/electrics/ mechanical fitting Profile: Ability to work on own initiative and assist other team members when required Ability to work under high pressure and confident in trouble shooting, focused on detail and problem solving A customer-focused approach to workload and strong attention to detail Flexible team worker, easy to adapt to changes of situations and work schedules A great work ethic and “can do” attitude, Open mind to learn new technical aspects Well organized, focused, meticulous Full Clean Driving License Languages: English – Advanced Essential; French – Conversational Level Desired Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
