Adjunct Faculty - Spanish Language Instructor

*Position Summary* The Faculty of Culture, Language & Performing Arts at BYU–Hawaii invites applications for a part-time *Adjunct Faculty* position in *Spanish Language* instruction. The successful candidate may teach *1–2 beginning and intermediate Spanish language courses per semester*, beginning Fall 2025. *Key Responsibilities* * Teach beginning and intermediate-level Spanish language courses * Prepare course materials and assessments in alignment with departmental standards * Provide students with timely feedback and academic support * Maintain regular office hours and participate in department meetings as needed *Minimum Qualifications* * Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Language Education, or a related field * Fluency in Spanish and English * Commitment to high-quality undergraduate teaching * Willingness to teach in-person on BYU–Hawaii’s campus *Preferred Qualifications* * Master’s degree in Spanish, Second Language Teaching, or a closely related field * Prior experience teaching Spanish at the college or university level * Familiarity with communicative and student-centered teaching approaches *About BYU–Hawaii* Brigham Young University–Hawaii, operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, offers a unique intercultural educational experience.
