Job Description
The successful candidate needs to show competence in the following areas: Communication Written and verbal Hard & soft skills in both Organization Multi-tasking. Attention to detail that meets organizational standards. Responsiveness. Maintain record-keeping documents and filing. Project Management Able to take many pieces of information, create a plan of action from it and drive the steps to completion, ensuring everyone involved delivers their part on time. Prioritize tasks in order of importance. Problem Solving & Critical Thinking Solutions-oriented. When encountering unexpected obstacles, you must be able to think quickly, creatively, and be flexible. Find and correct root causes for ongoing issues rather than simply finding a temporary solution. Resourceful, able to improvise, take initiative. Effective Time Management Schedule your time to complete all assigned tasks on time. Adaptability, able to reassess urgency of tasks each time a new task is added. Independent Process information, follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Job Requirements: Must be highly proficient in Microsoft 365 & G Suite. Strong Excel literacy is essential Must have a valid South African driver’s license. Experience in production sourcing, suppliers, or bespoke items and using PPT/Slides will be advantageous. 5 years of experience in a junior project management or project administration role, or as a Project Assistant/Administrator Qualifications: Matric BCom Degree or equivalent (BCom Marketing advantageous) – must have strong data management aptitude and high numeracy levels Additional courses/certificates completed will be advantageous.
