POSITION SUMMARY Oversee the material flow process. Establish and maintain supplier release procedure and supplier banking requirements to ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw materials to meet production requirements. Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory. Overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling targeting 2 ~ 4-week inventory levels, at a minimum. Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control). Daily Shortage root cause investigation and resolution. Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory Daily Shortage root cause investigation and resolution KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Bachelor's degree, Engineering, 4Year (Minimum) The Materials Associate manages all material functions from the flow of materials, supplier through production to customer. The Materials Associate is responsible for inventory Strong understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration Ability/Experience in using strong skills in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating problems Exceptional written and oral communication skills Strong knowledge of material process. Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekday and weekend overtime Intermediate to advanced computer skills MS office, Excel and PowerPoint are required
