Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/19/2025 Duration: 25 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Day and night shift available, 7-7 Requirements: Minimum Experience: 2 years recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience Certifications: BLS (AHA) – REQUIRED EMR: EPIC – REQUIRED Traveler Only: No first-time travelers accepted License: Active RN license in hand at time of submission Local Radius: Must live outside 50 miles from facility Clinical Skills Required: Peripheral IV starts Heparin, Insulin, PCA administration Blood product administration Nasal Cannula & Oxygen Therapy Isolation Precautions Familiarity with Rapid Response Teams Patient Ratio: 1:6 Charge RN capable (if needed) EKG Exam Requirement: All RNs (regardless of specialty) must pass a mandatory EKG exam as part of compliance.
