Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/19/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description: Electrophysiology (EP) Nurse Position We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment and is primarily responsible for assisting with bedside electrophysiology procedures, including pacemakers, defibrillators, peripheral cases, diagnostic cases, afib ablations, and implants such as AICDs. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct and assist with bedside electrophysiology procedures. - Circulate and document all necessary patient information and procedures accurately. - Collaborate effectively with the medical team to ensure optimal patient care. - Maintain a 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. - Ensure adherence to safety and clinical protocols within the Electrophysiology lab. Qualifications: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in Electrophysiology or related clinical setting. - Experience with travel is required. - Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. Work Schedule: - Day shifts, 11.5 hours. - No on-call duty and no weekend shifts required. - This position is part of a facility with three Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories (CCLs) and two EP labs.
