Were looking for an Customer Service Apprentice to join us on a full-time basis at our Gotham site, Working?Monday Friday, 7.30-16.00 / 8.30-17.00 rotating shifts. We need someone that has a passion for speaking to people and not be scared of juggling various tasks at any one time. If this sounds like something for you then read on! As aCustomer Service Administrator, youll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their queries and concerns are handled efficiently and professionally. Your responsibilities will include managing incoming calls and emails, updating delivery schedules, resolving service issues, and maintaining accurate records. Youll work closely with drivers, planners, and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and excellent customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You'll receive on-the-job training and guidance from experienced transport professionals, giving you the skills and knowledge, you need to succeed in a customer focused transport career. To excel in this role, you'll need to have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. The customer service apprenticeship will last 15 months, consisting of on the job training with a mentor and then an end of point assessment to show everything you have learnt. After successfully completing your apprenticeship, you will be offered a permanent role with XPO with lots of opportunities to progress. Pay, benefits and more: ?Were looking to offer a salary up to £26,000 depending on experience. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What youll do on a typical day: Proactively seek to prevent issues and when issues do arise, find out-the-box solutions to keep our service levels running to the highest possible level Analyse reoccurring issues and determine root cause & solution Handle claims issues from tan internal customer perspective Monitor inbound/outbound call logs Deal with Claims Issues from Customers What you need to succeed at XPO: Strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
