Kitchen Manager Hourly rate: £12.98 - £14.42 (£28,000 - £32,000 annual salary) Location: West Moors, Dorset Hours: 9am – 4pm, Monday to Friday with spilt/alternative weekends Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm Immediately start Join a vibrant organic café & deli. My client is seeking a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead their kitchen operations. This role is perfect for someone who combines culinary skill with organisational management and holds strong community values. Day-to-day of the role: Collaborate with the owners to create seasonal menus that highlight their farm-grown meat and vegetables. Take ownership of café, deli, and event stock ordering and rotation. Accurately cost dishes to maintain sustainability and affordability. Train, support, and supervise a diverse team, including adults with varying support needs. Manage rotas to ensure smooth kitchen operation. Monitor and minimise food waste across all areas. Ensure the deli is well-stocked with fresh, appealing produce. Plan and deliver catering support for seasonal and community events. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous kitchen leadership experience (Head Chef or Kitchen Manager level). Strong knowledge of seasonal and sustainable food practices. Organised, calm under pressure, and a natural problem solver. Experience working with or supporting people with additional needs is a plus. A warm communicator who thrives in a team-focused, community-minded environment.
