1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant Role in Plymouth

Your new company We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Plymouth. Your new role You will work closely with a pupil who requires additional support to access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom. Your role will involve: Providing tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day Assisting with the pupil's learning activities, social development, and emotional well-being Collaborating with the class teacher, SENCo, and external agencies to implement personalised strategies Creating a safe, nurturing environment that enables learning through encouragement and care What you'll need to succeed Experience working with children with SEND, particularly in a school setting A kind and proactive approach, with strong communication and teamwork skills The ability to follow personalised learning plans and adapt to the child's evolving needs Relevant Level 2 or 3 qualifications What you'll get in return Flexible working options available.Access to over 4000 free CPD courses.Opportunity to work with a wide network of schools.
