Job Description

PMO MANAGER - INSIDE IR35 - TO MARCH 2026 One of Loriens leading Public Sector Clients are looking for a Experienced PMO Manager to join their team on an initial contact running to the end of March 2026. This client is based in Edinburgh and will require 1-2x in office a week. Essential skills Experience of a range of project, programme and portfolio management functions including planning, risk management and governance. An understanding of PMO frameworks and methodologies including an understanding of both waterfall and agile project management practices. Experience of budgeting, cost management and resource planning processes. Ability to provide independent assurance whilst working collaboratively within a multi-disciplined team. Awareness of benefits management and how it may be used to help inform investment decisions. An openness to innovation and change. Excellent verbal and written communication skills utilising a range of channels suitable for the intended audience. Desirable skills Professional project management, agile management or PMO certification e.g. Agile PM, Prince 2, P3O or similar. Experience of using MS Project for the Web/Online, SharePoint, Power BI and Power Automate in a PMO context.
