Cover Supervisor Job Type: Temporary (Day-to-Day or Long Term Supply) Location: School across West Sussex and Surrey Salary: £100 - £120 per day We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Secondary School Cover Supervisor to join our team on a day-to-day supply basis. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience working in UK schools or those who have a strong desire to enter the teaching profession. You will be responsible for covering secondary classes across various subjects, providing high-quality education and maintaining the standards of the school. Day-to-day of the role: Cover classes across various secondary subjects, ensuring continuity of education in the absence of the regular teacher. Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and school policies. Engage students in learning activities, maintaining discipline and a positive learning environment. Prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences. Provide appropriate feedback on student work and maintain records of students' progress and development. Manage student behaviour in the classroom by enforcing rules and procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications: Flexibility to adapt to varying teaching assignments and school environments. Previous experience working in UK schools is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong desire to enter the teaching profession and passion for education.
