Logistics & Warehouse Manager

Are you an experienced logistics / warehouse professional ready to lead and shape a high-performing team? We are looking for a Logistics & Warehouse Manager to join a manufacturing company based in Ely where you will be responsible of the UK logistics operations. You’ll be the driving force behind courier account management, warehouse operations, and logistics process improvements, ensuring full compliance with H&S and customs regulations, including support for our AEO accreditation. You’ll also play a crucial leadership role, developing your team and maintaining a culture of safety, efficiency, and performance. Hours of work : Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm. Hybrid working available after initial training period, 2 days working from home. Duties and responsibilities of the Logistics & Warehouse Manager include: Lead and motivate a small UK-based logistics team (5 reports) Oversee daily logistics operations and courier accounts Manage UK warehouse compliance, including Rider Operated Lift Truck policy Support international transport and heavy goods logistics projects Ensure H&S, PUWER, and LOLER compliance Support the Trade Compliance team on export control and AEO accreditation Review freight costs and drive continuous process improvements Requirements for the Logistics & Warehouse Manager include: Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience in logistics/warehouse operations Hands-on experience in customs, freight (road, sea, air), and courier account management Proven ability to lead teams in an international logistics environment Strong understanding of H&S compliance and lean methodology Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills ERP and Microsoft Office proficiency If you're ready to lead from the front and make a measurable impact in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
