Digital Skills Teacher Annual Salary: £29,047 - £38,124 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (37 hours per week) Location: Wetherby We are currently seeking a dedicated Digital Skills Teacher to join our team. This role is perfect for an individual passionate about educating students in computer science and IT, preparing them for a future in digital technologies. Day-to-day of the role: Design and deliver comprehensive computer science and IT lessons that cater to the needs of all students. Develop curriculum and lesson plans that reflect current trends and standards in digital education. Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt lesson plans to meet the educational needs of students. Utilize a variety of teaching tools and technologies to enhance the learning experience. Collaborate with other educators to integrate digital skills across other curriculum areas. Stay updated with the latest developments in technology education and participate in professional development. Required Skills & Qualifications: Teaching qualification and, where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification. Commitment to obtain any outstanding qualifications within 12 months. Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy. Hold or commit to work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) within a specified timeframe (specific to Teachers in YOI).
