Senior Electrical Engineer – Building Services Southwark, London Full-time | Permanent 4:1 Office:Home Working Pattern An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a well-established MEP consultancy in Southwark. If you’re looking to step into a leadership role on high-profile retail, hospitality, and commercial projects, this could be the perfect fit. About the Role: You’ll lead the electrical design across a range of prestigious projects, from flagship retail stores to luxury residences and global hospitality spaces. You’ll manage client relationships, coordinate with other disciplines, and help drive project delivery from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and coordination of electrical systems, including: Internal, display, and external lighting Small power & LV distribution Fire alarms, sprinklers & security systems AV, data & digital signage Renewable technologies (PV, battery storage) Review and approve technical drawings and reports Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality standards Manage client and contractor relationships Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians Conduct site visits and resolve technical issues on site Requirements: Significant experience in electrical building services design Strong knowledge of DIALux, RELUX, and Trimble/Amtech Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit Confident in leading projects and working directly with clients and design teams If you're a technically strong, detail-focused engineer ready to take ownership of high-end design projects in a supportive and design-led environment, we’d love to hear from you.
