Secondary Teaching Assistant

Role Overview As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support students across a range of subjects and abilities. You'll help create a positive and productive classroom atmosphere, offering both academic and emotional support. Key Responsibilities Support students in lessons, both 1:1 and in small groups Assist with classroom management and lesson preparation Help implement learning strategies tailored to individual needs Promote positive behaviour and engagement Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress Requirements Experience working with young people (in education or youth settings) Strong communication and teamwork skills A patient, flexible, and proactive approach Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA) are desirable but not essential.
