Operations Manager Location: Newquay, Cornwall Full-time | 45 hours per week | Includes weekends and bank holidays Our client is excited to be recruiting for a hands-on Grounds and Maintenance Manager to join their team. About the Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our grounds, maintenance, and park services teams. This is a full-time, hands-on role requiring a mix of office-based planning and practical, on-the ground work. The successful candidate will report to the Park Manager and lead by example, helping to maintain our high standards in safety, quality, and customer service. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the grounds, maintenance, and park services teams • Oversee the upkeep of accommodation, park grounds, and facilities • Ensure all operations meet high standards of safety, efficiency, and presentation • Work proactively to identify and solve maintenance issues • Build strong relationships with contractors and suppliers • Participate in both practical maintenance tasks and strategic planning Requirements • Proven experience in a similar management role • Solid background in maintenance and grounds operations • Strong knowledge of health and safety practices • Excellent people and organisational skills • Willingness to take a hands-on approach and work flexibly • Comfortable working weekends and bank holidays during peak season What Is On Offer • Competitive salary (dependent on experience) • Weekly pay • Friendly, supportive team environment • Full uniform and all PPE provided • Training and professional development opportunities • Free on-site parking • Live-in accommodation available, if required
