Job Description
The establishment is a popular destination with a busy restaurant, as well as an active function and wedding venue. The ideal candidate will be a strong culinary leader who can manage a fast-paced environment and handle administrative duties with precision. The candidate should have a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences and a desire to contribute to a dynamic team. Candidate Requirements: Ability to manage a busy restaurant pass and coordinate orders with a team. Strong experience in handling functions and wedding catering. Excellent cooking skills, with a particular strength in baking. Proficiency in menu planning, stock control, and costings. Must be fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans. Computer literacy is required. Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and staff. A friendly personality and professional appearance. Customer service oriented, proactive, and able to multitask. Ability to plan, organize, and show a high level of attention to detail. Willing to work shifts, evenings, public holidays, and weekends. Must be resident in or near Stellenbosch and have personal transport. This is a live-out role.
