Travel Nurse RN - ER/Trauma - $1,840 per week in Tuscaloosa, AL

Job Title: Emergency Department RN Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 15:00-03:00 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty, 2 years preferred License: Registered Nurse – State license or Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted) Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, TNCC, SECURE ON SITE Must-Have: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Availability for 36 or 48 hours per week. Holidays as required. Availability for every other weekend. Description: This position is for a travel Emergency Department RN. The Emergency Department offers comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups. The team is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. The ED treats more than 60,000 patients per year. The Nurse to Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients. An associate degree in nursing is required. Certifications required include AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, TNCC, and SECURE ON SITE. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of specialty. Candidates with 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license will be considered. This is a clinical position and is patient-facing. The EMR used for documentation is Meditech. Scrub colors must be solid navy. Candidates must be willing to float to various units and hospitals as needed.
