Travel Nurse RN - PCU - $2,089 per week in Roanoke, VA

PCU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Experience with cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients in a progressive care unit is required. License: Active license required Certifications: COVID-19 vaccine required, Medical/Religious exemptions only. Flu vaccine required, Medical/Religious exemptions only. Must-Have: Travelers are required to work at least 1 holiday per 13-week assignment, with specific requirements for winter holidays. Description: This position involves working in a 24-bed progressive care unit. The unit specializes in the care of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients, with an emphasis on postoperative care. Current patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:5 in the progressive care unit. All travelers are expected to float as needed to other progressive care units and potentially medical-surgical units. Compliance documents are required prior to the start of employment. Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and not accepted for this position. Travelers are not allowed to return to work within a specific timeframe after completing an assignment. This policy will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by leadership. Travelers may complete orientation modules within the first 24 hours of employment. Modules may be recorded by facility report and approved hours will be paid bi-weekly. Orientation will require 24 hours of training.
