Youll be responsible for managing stock, supporting customers, and keeping the yard safe, clean, and efficient. This role is ideal for someone whos hands-on, highly organised, and confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee goods in/out, loading, unloading, and stock handling Lead and manage a team of yard staff, ensuring high standards of work and safety Monitor stock levels and support inventory accuracy Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard environment Deliver excellent on-site customer service Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed Report on yard activity and performance What Theyre Looking For Previous experience in a similar supervisory or managerial yard-based role Strong leadership and communication skills Good knowledge of building materials (preferred) Awareness of health and safety practices Counterbalance Forklift licence (required) Comfortable with physical tasks and operating machinery Basic computer skills for reporting and stock systems Full UK driving licence may be required
