Finance Manager

We are pleased to be working with a not-for-profit organisation based in Southampton that are looking for a Finance Manager to join the team. This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity for someone to help shape financial processes and support organisational growth. Offering up to £50,000 Key responsibilities: Maintain comprehensive accounting records across multiple projects and accounts Prepare detailed internal and external budgets for new projects in collaboration with the bid writing team Conduct regular budget reviews and variance analysis Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting Identify and address potential budget over/underspends Analyse financial risks and variances, recommending practical solutions Revise budgets considering multiple scenarios and external factors Process purchase and sales invoices, bank charges, and reconciliations Prepare and post journal entries Prepare and submit VAT returns What they're looking for: Proven experience in financial management and reporting Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy under pressure Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong organisational abilities with capacity to work independently Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
