Portfolio Manager

A leading name in British hospitality is looking for a Portfolio Manager to join their expanding technology delivery function. This position requires deep experience in project and portfolio management, a passion for leading high-performing teams, and a proven track record of delivering technology-based solutions aligned with strategic business goals. Experience working across multiple projects, managing stakeholders, and overseeing dependencies is essential. Youll have the opportunity to lead a talented team of project managers and business analysts, shape the delivery of key initiatives, and play a vital role in enabling technology transformation across the business. Key Responsibilities: Manage, prioritise, and schedule a portfolio of projects in line with strategic goals Oversee cross-project dependencies, risks, and issues to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery Lead best practices in project and business analysis across the delivery team Provide day-to-day leadership to a team of internal and external Project Managers and Business Analysts Act as the IT Business Partner for assigned business functions Track and report on portfolio progress across budget, scope, resources, and timeline Drive the identification and mitigation of risks and critical dependencies early in the project lifecycle Ensure delivery excellence in partnership with data and core delivery teams Key Skills & Experience: Demonstrable leadership experience within portfolio and project management Expertise in managing dependencies, risks, and delivery across multiple concurrent projects Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence at all levels Experience managing full project lifecycles using Waterfall methodology Skilled in third-party vendor management Excellent communication skills with a structured and adaptable approach Ability to lead, coach, and mentor delivery teams Proactive problem-solver with strong decision-making and ownership mentality Apply now to join a dynamic, high-impact delivery team that is enabling strategic transformation at national scale.
