Class 2 Driver Salary: £31,000 per annum Location: St Ives Full Time | Permanent We're currently recruiting for reliable and experienced Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established team delivering essential equipment to customers across the region. You'll be joining one of the UK's leading equipment and tool hire businesses, known for its dependable service, safety-first approach and strong reputation within construction, infrastructure and facilities management sectors. With a commitment to supporting both major projects and local trades, the company offers a professional, supportive environment with genuine opportunities for long-term development. What's on offer: £31,000 annual salary Full-time, permanent position Regular weekday shifts: 5:00 – 14:00 6:00 – 15:00 7:00 – 16:00 (Each shift includes a 1-hour lunch break) Only 1 in 4 Saturdays required All vehicles and equipment fully maintained Friendly and supportive team atmosphere What we're looking for: A clean Class 2 (Category C) driving licence Previous experience in a similar role preferred Strong customer service and communication skills A safety-first approach and high attention to detail Reliability, punctuality and a team-player mindset Key responsibilities: Safe delivery and collection of equipment to and from customer sites Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant Providing friendly and professional service on-site Accurately completing paperwork and reports If you're a dependable driver who enjoys being on the road and working with customers, this is a great opportunity to join a stable, respected company that values its team.
