Senior Buyer

Your new company A leading UK manufacturer is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Buyer to join their procurement team. This is a supplier-facing role focused on driving value, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Your new role Your key responsibilities will include: Source and evaluate suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor market trends Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement with business needs Analyse procurement data to inform strategic decisions What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in a procurement or buying role, ideally in manufacturing Strong negotiation and contract management skills Excellent analytical and communication abilities Proficiency in Excel and procurement systems Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience CIPS or similar certification is advantageous This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to make a real impact in a progressive and sustainability-focused organisation.
