Senior Software Engineer (Ruby Expert)

We're Hiring: Ruby Expert Senior Software Engineer (Remote - Brazil) Professional English fluency is required – you’ll be working closely with global teams and stakeholders! Are you a Ruby expert looking to work on complex technical challenges at scale with competitive compensation? We're looking for a collaborative and curious Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Engineering team and help us build the tools and systems that power our unique eCommerce and warehouse operations. Every item we process is one-of-a-kind , and so are the engineering challenges we face. Location: Remote - Brazil (preferably São Paulo) Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday What You’ll Do: Build and scale tools to optimize our outbound processes across multiple authentication centers Work on impactful projects like Zendesk → Gladly migration Develop backend systems using Ruby (and optionally Elixir, Python) Contribute to frontend tools with React, TypeScript, GraphQL Optimize storage, shipping, and inventory tracking across nationwide warehouses Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Operations ✅ Must-Haves: Professional English fluency (written and spoken) 5 years of software engineering experience Strong expertise in Ruby (production-grade systems) Deep understanding of web application architecture and performance Experience with Git/GitHub workflows Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) Bonus Points for: Experience with Elixir or Python Familiarity with Gladly, Zendesk, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS/Lambda Knowledge of HTML5, CSS/SASS, and modern JavaScript If you enjoy working with modern tech to solve real-world logistics and eCommerce challenges, and you're a Ruby enthusiast with strong English skills, we’d love to meet you!
