About the job For our Automotive division in Azuqueca de Henares (SPAIN) we are looking for a Fixed-Term Plant Controller (F/M/X/D) to replace a maternity leave (6-10 months contract). Job purpose Reporting to the Controlling Operations Manager for the Automotive division and working daily with the Azuqueca de Henares Plant Manager, the Plant Controller is accountable to provide true and proper information to support Management, KPI's and ensuring correct account and financial procedures. Work also as a strategic business partner on the management making decisions when needed from finance or controlling perspective. Coordinate and validate all plant reports, plant financial closing, internal controls, fixed asset accounting, inventory management, savings initiatives, and cost calculations. Specific responsibilities and authorities: · Analysis of facility results and deviations (quantity and value), KPI's, working capital in production area, R&D projects. · Calculation of product cost. · Expense monitoring. · Analysis of investment projects and control of pending projects and fixed assets. · Participation in month-end procedure of accruals & analysis. · Production issues & cost analysis. · Production Analysis and cost impact (Manufacturing Result Forecast), daily meeting, stocks follow-up, efficiency. · Budget transformation cost and budget fixed cost. · Forecast accuracy on time report delivery and controlling report. · Manufacturing monthly report. · Inventory management. · Coordination and report of financial aspect of Lean Manufacturing (Excellence Programmes, Six Sigma). · Stock Take Management (Row Materials, Semi-manufacturing products, Finished products & Fixed Assets). · External & Internal Audit requirements. · To provide and coordinate financial information in the plant. · Responsible for related accounting entries and review of plant related accounting financials. · Line manager of one direct report. What you bring: - Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Industrial Engineering and Management. - Demonstrated experience analysing and developing costs of manufacturing and delivering of products. - Demonstrated experience managing ERP in a manufacturing environment. Good knowledge in IT tools to establish and develop cost control and reporting (Oracle Fusion, Excel, Hyperion, Business Warehouse, Power BI). - At least 1 years of experience in manufacturing environments knowing the structure of manufacturing processes. - At least 1 years of experience preparing budgets, monitoring monthly and forecasting. - Experience in distribution logistics control will be a highly valued asset. - Analytical skills. - Work under procedures. - Communication skills. - Teamwork. - Initiative. - Results orientation. - English B2 level (fluent speaking). Additionally, French or Italian will be appreciated.
