Job Description

Our client, is a successful, independent and highly credible Lloyd's Broker, are now actively seeking to expand their US Property Direct & Facultative Division, due to their recent successes and rapid increase with incoming business. This is a client and market facing Broker position that essentially involves servicing existing clients, as well as actively identifying and building relationships with US Retailers, to ensure healthy portfolio growth. Role Duties As a North American Property Broker, you will be responsible for:- Working collaboratively with the team and will assist with the day-to-day management and servicing of a portfolio of US Property Risks. Providing a timely, attentive and bespoke service, ensuring an exceptional client service is delivered. Ensure a high renewal retention rate and re-broking renewals Consistently build and maintain client and market relationships Negotiate the best possible terms on behalf of your valued clients and place risks into the Open Market. Identity market trends, new business opportunities and actively seek ways to expand the currently lucrative book of business. Business travel to the US maybe required as and when. Review MRC Slips and Endorsements created by the Technical Team About You 3-5 years of experience in working for a Lloyd's Broker, with market exposure (Account Handler's/Broker Back-Up's may also be considered) Experience in Open Market US Property Risks Knowledge of MRC Slips and Endorsements Excellent relationship building and communication skills Solid negotiation and client facing skills
