HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 | Hemel Hempstead HG are recruiting HGV 1 Drivers to work with our client based in Hemel Hempstead working on an long term temp basis. Minimum 6 months experience. If you are interested in Class 1 role, click APPLY now You will be required to carry out multi-drop deliveries of chilled/Ambient goods to all high street stores. Loading and unloading your vehicle using tail lift. Ensuring deliveries are carried out safely on a day to day basis. Some Trunking work from Depot to depot. You will be on a fixed rota of working any 5 out of 7. 3 days of your working week you will be required to complete Class 2 work as a minimum. You may also be required to complete work at different depots within 55 miles of Hemel Hempstead where you will be compensated for your travel. PAYE from £18.15-£22.88 per hour Shift start times available Working on a fixed shift pattern of any 5 out of 7 (3 out of 5 will be working on Class 2) AM- starts from 0400-0700 Benefits Regular work and job security Excellent rates of pay Pension scheme Requirements HGV 1 license - Minimum with 12 months experience. HGV 1 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive Excellent geographical knowledge Customer focused attitude.
