Job Description

Position: Electrician - Installations (Retail Projects) Salary: £36,000 - £45,000 basic (OTE £60,000 - £80,000) Location: Wokingham The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Electrician to support the nationwide rollout of a major commercial installation programme. The role involves working across a series of new high-value retail fit-out projects, delivering high-quality electrical installations alongside a well-established and expanding engineering team. Key Duties: Deliver commercial installation works across retail sites in accordance with project plans and specifications Perform full 1st and 2nd fix duties including containment, cabling, and distribution board installation Interpret technical drawings and ensure all works comply with current wiring regulations Maintain accurate documentation and liaise effectively with site supervisors and project leads Work Sunday to Thursday night shifts, with flexibility for extended travel Candidate Profile: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent recognised qualification) Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (preferred but not essential - training available) Strong background in commercial electrical works, ideally within live or new-build retail environments Full UK driving licence Comfortable with frequent travel and staying away from home Package & Benefits: Mileage allowance Long-term contract work on a major UK programme Ongoing professional development and upskilling opportunities Supportive team culture and clear career progression
