Job Description The Entry Level Events Assistant will assist in planning, organizing, and executing events for our clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position will support the events team with on-site and behind-the-scenes logistics. Key Responsibilities Event Preparation: Assist with planning, organizing, and setting up events, including coordinating logistics, supplies, and timelines. On-Site Support: Help with event setup, registration, guest assistance, and coordination on the event day to ensure smooth operations. Vendor Coordination: Communicate with vendors to arrange for necessary services, supplies, and equipment for events. Inventory Management: Ensure that all event materials and equipment are ready, organized, and well-maintained. Post-Event Follow-Up: Assist with event breakdown, feedback collection, and documentation, including compiling reports on event success and areas for improvement. Administrative Support: Handle general administrative tasks related to event planning, such as preparing documents, tracking expenses, and organizing event files. Client Interaction: Provide support for clients during events and address questions or concerns professionally. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the events and marketing teams to ensure all event requirements are met and objectives are achieved. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or coursework in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances on event days. Excellent verbal communication skills and a customer-oriented approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, depending on event schedules. Prior experience in events or hospitality is beneficial but not required.
