The ideal candidate should be comfortable covering both CT and general X-ray departments during night shifts. The technologist will perform multimodality imaging procedures for ambulatory and hospitalized patients as per physician directives, adhering to established protocols for the accurate diagnosis of disease and injury. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct high-quality multimodality imaging procedures promptly and in accordance with exam protocols. - Maintain imaging production and quality by adhering to established standards and procedures. - Prepare patients and the imaging area for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and equipment setup. - Ensure patient and employee safety by following infection control, radiation safety rules, and other protocols. - Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal functionality of imaging equipment. - Report any equipment issues to management or the appropriate department. - Maintain medical imaging records accurately and timely in compliance with departmental policies. - Participate in quality assurance and control programs to ensure all exams meet quality standards and equipment is properly maintained. Education and Certifications: - Graduation from a Specialty Training Program (Required). - Basic Life Support Certification (Default Issuing Body). - Certified Radiology Technologist (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT). Skills: - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in computer literacy and documentation processes. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
