Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,332 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/18/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Must have : Cardiac Telemetry or PCU/ICU experience. Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips. Advanced skills needed: Must have experience with post cardiac procedural care (Ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post Op Day 1 Open Heart, permanent Pacemaker placements). Must be able to administer and titrate IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone. Procedures performed on unit: IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, Chest Tube maintenance, Temporary Pacemakers, Foley insertions Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 29 · Patient Ratios : 1:4 (Patient ratios are estimated and not guaranteed) · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Charge Nurse, Unit Secretary, and PCTs · Type of equipment : Alaris IV Pumps, SCD machines, Hill Rom beds, dinamap in each room, 3 Welch Allen Vital Machines, Wound Vacs, Temporary Pacemakers, Telemetry monitor, EKG Machine, Bladder Scanner, Doppler, Imobile for communication between team members · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: Must work full time hours including 3 weekend shifts per scheduling period. · Floating policy: Contract Nurses will be floated to any area where they have demonstrated competency.
