Job Quick Facts Specialty: Gastroenterology Job Type: Locums-to-Perm Location: Lewisburg, PA Service Setting: Outpatient/Inpatient Coverage Period: Jan 1, 2024 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical call Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 7a-4p or 9 hrs Call Schedule: Mon(7a) - Mon(7a) - 1 week on, 1 week off Shift/Call Coverage: Office work, procedures, IP call coverage. Call Ratio: 1:4 Patient Volume: 20-25 Patient Demographics: 18 yrs Physicians in Practice: - Gastro practice w/ 1 FT GI, 3 part time GI's; 2 PAs. Support Staff: 2 APs and seasoned clinic staff Procedures/Skills: 10-12 Endoscopy/Colonoscopy - Huge back log of patients that need to have procedures. - Skills: currently use Provation in the Endo centers for scopes-No EUS or ERCP (If a patient requires these procedures, they will be transferred to the appropriate facility). EMR: Epic Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: Active PA License BC (GI) 1-2 years of experience COVID Vaccination proof
