As an OBGYN RN, you’ll provide specialized nursing care to women throughout all stages of pregnancy, labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and reproductive health procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct care to patients in prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum stages • Assist with labor and delivery, including monitoring fetal heart tones and supporting pain management techniques • Support gynecologic procedures such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and fertility treatments • Educate patients on prenatal care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document care in the EMR (e.g., EPIC, Cerner) • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and maternal care teams to ensure safe outcomes Qualifications: • Active RN license (compact or state-specific) • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in OB, L&D, or women’s health nursing • BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS preferred • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient advocacy skills • Experience in high-risk pregnancies and emergency obstetric care is a plus At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
