Travel RRT - $1,465 per week in Falls Church, VA

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: NICU Duration: 2 years Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 7P - 7A Experience: 2 years of NICU experience License: VA License required Certifications: BLS, NRPRRT or CRT accepted Description: Two years of experience required in a NICU setting. BLS, NRPRRT or CRT certifications are accepted. A Virginia license is required to practice. Workload is dependent on RVU bases with 580 minutes assigned out of a 720 minute shift. ICUs may have similar assignments, but RVU allocation could be higher. Orientation includes one week of department training followed by shadowing and training to general care. The third week will involve taking charge of one's own assignment. Shift expectations include working from 7P to 7A. Weekend expectations involve working six weekend shifts per six-week schedule. Floating expectations include general care outside of the assigned ICU. No on-call expectations are required. Holiday expectations include one major and one minor holiday. Access to Epic is needed.
