GCP Delivery/Project Manager

The GCP Delivery/Project Manager candidate must have: Key Responsibilities: · Program & Project Leadership: o Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple GCP projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. o Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. o Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. o Implement robust project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) tailored to project needs. · GCP Solution Delivery: o Possess a strong understanding of core GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud SQL, Vertex AI, Networking, Security, IAM, etc.) and their application in enterprise solutions. o Guide technical teams in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective GCP architectures. o Ensure technical solutions align with client business objectives and GCP best practices. o Drive digital transformation and cloud migration initiatives on GCP. · Stakeholder Management & Communication: o Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, communicating progress, risks, and issues effectively. o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, vendors, and Google Cloud representatives. o Conduct regular project reviews and status meetings with stakeholders. o Prepare and present project reports, presentations, and demonstrations to various audiences. Experience: 8 years of progressive experience in IT, with a significant portion (5 years) in a Project Management, Program Management, or Delivery Management role. ·Demonstrable experience managing complex cloud-based projects, specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . ·Proven track record of successful end-to-end IT service delivery and P&L management in previous roles. ·Experience working with large enterprises and managing multi-location or global delivery teams. Technical Skills: ·Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and distributed systems. ·Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles on GCP. ·Knowledge of networking, security, and data management best practices in a cloud environment.
