TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Falls Church, Virginia, 22042! Pay Information $2,283 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of recent dedicated Cardiac ICU/CCU/CVICU experience required License: Valid RN License/Compact License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Recent experience and competency in VV/VA ECMO, IABP (Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps), TTM/Arctic Sun, Impella, CRRT, PA Catheter Guided Therapy. Strong experience with all advanced therapy modalities is required. Ability to read and interpret EKG rhythm strips. Experience managing and titrating cardiac/vasoactive drips. Description: The role involves caring for patients with conditions such as cardiogenic shock, STEMI, cardiac arrest, advanced heart failure management, and cardiac arrhythmias. Experience with post-IR and PCI procedures, as well as TEVAR, is essential. This position requires working every other weekend and one major winter holiday, which includes the day before, day of, and day after. Floating to other intensive care units, including stepdown, progressive care, intermediate care, and telemetry units, will be expected. The unit consists of 24 beds with staffing ratios of 1:1 or 1:2, and stepdown ratios of 1:3. Electronic Medical Record system used is Epic. Scrubs required are navy blue pants and solid navy-blue tops or solid white jackets.
