Job Description Job Description Licensed Vocational Nurse Job Responsibilities: Under the direction of the RN Weekly home visits to review MARS/Medications. Update and distribute MARS each month end for every client to their designated home. Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities. Attend virtual or in-person doctor appointments and/or visits with clients Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans Documents patient care services, irregularities, and continuing needs using electronic health record systems. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. Proficiency in patient care across diverse populations and settings. Medication and injection administration. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients & families. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and hospital or regulatory standards. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; medication administration and storage procedures; and controlled substance regulations Maintains patient confidentiality and protects company processes and operations. Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; and evaluating new equipment and techniques. Maintain nursing supply inventory. Acquire professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies. Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by contributing to team problem-solving methods. [Work Hours & Benefits] This job is M-F 8 to 5pm.
