Job Description Job Description Nurse LPN Position is located on our Detox and Pre-Intake units at the agency's main campus in Delray Beach and provides medical support services for our residential clients as well as clients seeking detox services. Please visit our website for more and detailed information on both our services and job overview at www. dafpbci.org Job Duties: Provide direct services in all aspects of Medical / Detox / Intake Unit: Receiving and Triage Services (respond to all requests for services by clients as they present needs) Withdrawal Management Services (assisting with and safely managing a client's withdrawal from drugs and alcohol in accordance with clinical protocol and agency policy) Medical Clearance Services (medical clearance of clients presenting for residential admission) Pharmacy / Medication Management (maintaining, controlling, administering and accounting for medication / including controlled substance and as authorized by physician order) Medical Support Services (respond to all medical support requests from our residential units) Required: Florida LPN license required/RN license prefered Minimum of 1 year nursing experience required / substance abuse / mental health / psych setting prefered Compensation: LPN $28.00/per hr RN $32.00/per hr Company Description The Drug Abuse Foundation of Palm Beach County, Inc (DAF) is a fully licensed and accredited not-for-profit 501 (C) (3) chemical dependency treatment and prevention agency.
